Chakalaka Boerewors is a South African mildly hot and or spicy fresh pork sausage that is made with pork, beef or other meats. The sausage derives its name from the Chakalaka sauce which is in its most simple form a combination of onions, curry powder and tomatoes.
The Prince of Afrikaan Wors bok” in Afrikaans is a deer and “wurs” is “wors” It is then “deer wurs” or “deer sausage”
